yep. It boggles my mind why they're doing this, but obviously they know more about what resources they have than I do. Not having the 4th infantry division coming from Turkey in the North is affecting them more than they're letting on. They'd have a lot more people on the ground if that was the case. As it stands now, they'll probably get there in another week, possibly after most of this is over.
Just compare...
In 1991 the U.S. Army fielded if I'm not wrong (correct me):
XVIIIth Airborne Corps.
24th Mech. Division
82nd Airborne Division
101st Air Assault Division
3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment
VIIth Corps.
1st Armored Calvary Division
1st Armored Division
1st Infanfry Division
3rd Armored Division
2nd Armored Cavalry Regiment
+ 1st British Armored Division
And I had left beside the USMC forces and the Saudi, Syrian, Saudi and Egyptian forces.
And this time the objetive is not freeing Kuwait but the whole Irak...

Phft. I don't like it. Seem's like a "rush". Sending a bunch of guys into the meatgrinder to eventually overwhelm em. They're taking American lives into jeopardy just to shut the protestors up.
