I just got this book yesterday, really enjoying it. I don't know if anyone has discussed this book here before, but I recommend it to everyone here. For those who don't know - it deals with the pararescue guys in Operation Enduring Freedom.

Yes, I JUST got it a few days ago and finished it last night. Pretty interesting stuff although I have read better. The saving grace of the book for me was the rather unique subject matter. I hadnt read alot about PJ's and thier actualy experiences in combat, training, their med skills, etc so it was interesting from that stand point but I felt the book could have been better researched. I highly recomend "SOG" about special ops recon teams around Cambodia during Vietnam. My math teacher in high school served with Green Berets and was asked to join SOG but turned it down. He recomended it to me and it was great. Bravo Two Zero was ok book on SAS ops in GW1. There's a good book called "Commando's" about US spec ops in GW1 with various short stories. Blackhawk Down was good book, especially since I read it the day it came out before anyone really cared about it. It really opened my eyes to what happened back in the day when NOBODY knew or cared whath appened Oct 3 at Mog. "Charlie Wilsons War" about CIA ops in Afghanistan was "ok". mostly just Interesting.

I'm not sure I understand..... which part wasn't well researched? The only places where he appears a little uncertain is where the US military refused to allow him to interview anyone who had anything to do with Operation Anaconda.
