View Full Version : German Special Forces( KSK ) General dismisses
In diesem Zusammenhang würden alle rechtlichen Konsequenzen erörtert.

The head of German special services, Brigadier General Reinhard Günzel, whose troops are expected to go to Afghanistan, warned that any attempt to capture Bin Laden would lead to a "bloodbath". He accepted that, because of the scale of the atrocities in New York and Washington, the soldiers were going to have to try anyway. Brigadier General Reinhard Günzel was relieved of duty because his letter of praise to politician Martin Hohmann, as shown on national television (ZDF). My translation:

"Dear [Representative Hohmann], I thank you very cordially for your lecture at the national holiday. An excellent speech, if you allow me the opinion, that one only hears and reads very rarely in our country, with the courage to express truth and clarity.
Those who share your opinion or dare articulate them are branded as right-wing extremists; you can be shure that you clearly speak the heartfelt beliefs of the majority of our people.
I hope that you will hold firm and not allow criticism from the liberal left to sway your course. Cordial greetings,
Regards, Brigadier GeneralReinhard Günzel."

Hohmann's a wanker. Yeah, I'm sure he didn't mean it when he said:
"With a certain justification, one could ask in the light of the millions killed in the first phase of the [Russian] revolution about the 'guilt' of the Jews,"
(taken from He219's link)
He should go and chill with the Malaysian Prime Minister and chat about how Jews rule the world by proxy and make others fight their battles. Cause I think the rest of us are tired of these rants that reek of 1938.

That was part of the Simon Wiesenthal Center link earlier:
In the speech in his hometown of Neuhof, Hohmann argued that Germans still labor under the burden of Nazi crimes but other nations with bloody pasts cast themselves as "innocent lambs." He cited the French revolution and the prominent role of Jews in the 1917 communist revolution in Russia.
"With a certain justification, one could ask in the light of the millions killed in the first phase of the revolution about the 'guilt' of the Jews," Hohmann said, according to a copy of the speech obtained by The Associated Press.
He said "it would follow the same logic with which the Germans are described as a guilty people." He concluded that the point was not to blame the Germans for Nazi crimes or Jews for those of the Bolsheviks, but rather "the godless with their godless ideologies."
The Central Council of Jews, which represents Germany's Jewish community, said it may file a criminal complaint against Hohmann for incitement under German laws outlawing far-right statements in public.

German general axed in Jewish row
The head of Germany's special forces has been sacked for allegedly backing an MP who is accused of anti-Semitism.
Defence Minister Peter Struck fired Brigadier General Reinhard Guenzel for apparently praising MP Martin Hohmann.
Mr Hohmann has caused a national row with comments comparing the actions of Jews in the 1917 Russian revolution with those of the Nazis.
General Guenzel is said to have written to Mr Hohmann, praising his "courage".
Mr Struck insisted that General Guenzel's views were not widespread in the armed forces.
"This is about a lone, confused general who agreed with an even more confused statement made by a conservative member of parliament," he said.
Mr Hohmann first sparked a furore when he suggested it might be possible to consider Jews as a "Taetervolk", or race of perpetrators, as Germans are seen, because of Jewish actions during the Bolshevik revolution.
In an interview for ZDF's Frontal 21 programme this weekend Mr Hohmann, an MP for the opposition right-wing Christian Democrats (CDU), read out the letter of support from General Guenzel.
"It was an excellent speech, of a courage truth and clarity which one seldom hears or reads in our country," Mr Hohmann quoted the letter as saying.
"Even though all those who support this view or who articulate it loud and clear are categorised by public opinion as right-wing extremists, you can be sure that you are doubtless speaking for the majority of our nation," he also quoted the general as writing.
The KSK special forces, which General Guenzel headed, are the elite branch of the German military and have recently seen action in Afghanistan.
German prosecutors have launched an investigation into Mr Hohmann's speech after a criminal complaint against him was filed.
He has apologised for his comments, saying that neither Germans nor Jews were "Taetervolk".
The CDU has thrown him off two parliamentary commissions - though critics say that this is not punishment enough.
