These are the 2 pics that I managed to get. I believe the phenomena is called as HALOS. This phenomena has nothing to do with the streetlights seen in here.

God you're an idiot Caraway, I've seen more Halo than you have in your entire night of seeing this. Infact I used to see it on a frequent basis, and if I had a working camera at the time, I'd of had about 100+ photos already of this so called "Phenom"

It's an ok Phenom, but I'm more interested when I see the Northern lights (Nordlys) than compared to Halo.

I can see those from my balcony. But even in here the Northern Lights are hard to spot. :|

If you lived in far Northern Finland you'd see them spectacularly. In the cities more south it may be much harder to see.

I'm seeing a black sky...and some lights below. I read the message...I don't get it.

Someone needs to photoshop in the Master Chief, a few marines and some Covenant. This would really get this thread pumped!
