I don't believe this has been posted before.
Read about it the recent issue of Small Arms Review.
Lakeside Machine has developed a rimfire belt feed
system that would accommodate the common lower
receivers of the AR15 and M16 style of firearms.

Looks like they make replicas of older MGs that fire rimfire
cartridges. 17 as well as 22lr. Cloth belt or disintegrating link
belt.
Looks like a lot of fun :D

Expensive little $hit...
Unless I am mistaken, you still only shoot semi-auto, since the rate of fire is based on the trigger group (the ones in the video are all Class III/NFA lowers).
For 2K I'd rather get a semi-auto FULL-Size Browning 1919A4...
Now THAT would be badass...
