SKS or Mauser?

I've got a Russian SKS (1951 Tula) that I'm thinking of taking to an upcoming gun show and selling for money to buy a Mauser (probably Yugo M48 or M24/47). The other half of me says "You'll be kicking yourself later for doing this".

Should I listen to the "other half"? :|

Ok, so you need to raise money to pay for a new rifle? try the following

Dont sell your SKS to fund a Mauser.

If you have a Tula SKS and you sell it off, you can expect me to come to wherever you live and beat you soundly on the head, especially if you buy a Yugo Mauser ;) (if it was for a German Mauser then it wouldn't be too much of a beating).

Seriously though, I personally wouldn't sell off the Tula. I would sell off something else, save some money (eat a lot of ramen), or find a second job.

Why do you want to sell the SKS? Why not just save the $ for a Mauser?
