i have 3 tattoos, 28 if you wanna get technical. i got them when i was 18. 1 across each shoulder and one across my chest on the left side, about an inch above the nipple

I was told by our ROTC rectruiter that a recent rule stating that tattoos cannot be visible is in effect. And I'm pretty sure they don't allow tattoos for guys going out for 1st SFOD-D.

I might get one if I found a really badass one.

Did you know that tatoos in the British Army used to be an offence,as they were classed as self inflicted wounds,several memebers of my old regiment got massive fines ,and jail terms when they went to Hong Kong in 78 or 79!!

Why would they not let Delta guys have tattoos? If someone is inspecting your body that close you are already screwed. Tattoos can't be visible for you because you one day may become an officer. Different rules for officers and enlisted when it comes to tattoos.

the rule they told me for the US Army enlisted men was, nothing above the collar and nothing below the wrist. also, before i could enlist, they had to take pictures of mine and send them tothe battalion commander so he could determine if they were 'offensive'. rediculous waste of time if you ask me but i could understand if it were some kind of gang related tattoo.
