View Full Version : Missing US Navy pilot Scott Spiecher
Just before GW2 was launched, there was a HUGE interest in the whereabouts of Scott Speicher, the navy pilot shot down in GW1 and, according to many witnesses, taken prisoner. Many many Iraqi's have come forward in the last decade saying at one point or another that they spotted him. Example. One dude said he was arrested for someting and taken to jail to be tortured by intel. groups and he caught a glimpse of an American who the guards referred to as Scott. Another said he saw the name Scott Speicher and the date 1998 scratched on a wall of a cell. With all these Iraqi's opening up top secret files on the deaths of theri relatives, which the Iraqi's (like the Nazis) kept good records of, it amazes me that we havnt heard any answers as to when/how he died, or where he was a t certain times etc etc etc.. Anybody heard anything?

"New evidence has been found that Scott Speicher is still alive and a captive in Iraq. Part of the evidence includes a 90-page document that contains Scott's name. The document is dated January of this year and lists names of prisoners in Iraq.
While much of the evidence found is highly classified, prominent people involved in Scott's case have spoken publicly in general terms about it. Cindy Laquidara, an attorney representing Scott's family, says the evidence Scott is alive is very credible. She also said General Abid Hamid Mahmud Al-Tikriti has the answers we're seeking about Scott. He was Saddam's presidential secretary and national security advisor. Represented by the ace of diamonds in the Iraqi most-wanted cards, he is now in U.S. custody.
Senator Bill Nelson, D-FL, said he is optimistic that Scott's case can be resolved soon."

Yes, a very sad story altogether but that site that was dedicated to the freeing of Scott Speicher was somehow too commercial.
The word "Merchandise" in it, buy your "Get Scott Speicher free right now!!" T-shirts for 12,99 and while your at it get a pair of happy balloons for the kids that include Scott Speicher's "Free Scott right now or we'll bomb Syria!"-slogan on for 10, 99....
I should have guessed...

Just another example of the U.S. government not giving a damn about it's prisoners. Same thing happened in Vietnam and Korea.

I read somewhere that Scott's "fate" has been relabeled by the military in reverse order. First he was KIA, then MIA and now he's a POW.
It's a crying shame if you ask me. 130,000 US troops alone in the damn country and we can't find out where ONE American is.
Although, tragically, he might have been executed during the latest war and dumped somewhere.

He was killed by air-to-air missle fired by a Iraqi MIG, and buried by Bedouins.
