CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police are investigating a robbery at a pizza restaurant in which two employees were shot and a pregnant customer was kicked in the stomach.

Investigators say two men walked into the back of a Pizza Hut restaurant on North Tryon Street Tuesday night in hopes of getting to the safe. Two employees were shot.
Two men and a pregnant woman waiting at the counter for a pizza were beaten. Police say one of the men was hit with a gun and the suspects stole money from their pockets.
The pregnant woman was treated by emergency medical personnel after she was kicked, and she was up and walking around afterward.
Police say the robbers jumped into a car parked outside the restaurant and drove two blocks to an apartment complex, ditched that car and jumped into a different car and fled.
No arrests have been made.

Pizza Hut currently has a policy in place that disarms all workers, also the Police(no offence intended as I have an inderstanding of their limits) were no-where in sight to stop this from happening and no amount of Martials Arts would have stopped the pregnant woman from being kicked in the stomach!
