I find all new cars boring.
they have so much electronic aids I feel superfluous.
the car is doing it all;

the braking - abs, esp, emergency braking system etc, all you have to do is tell when you wanna brake. or wait, in mercedes, the car is slowing you down when you are to close to the car in front of you.
the throttling - yeah, with electronic controlled throttle plates, and asr, esp etc. you are no longer in control. full throttle means maybe a bit more throttle if the car feels to.
the shifting - inert automatics, dsg's and F1 paddle type's doing the job.
then there's the satnav wich is telling you where to go.
the parkering aid wich almost is parking the car for you.
the lane departure warning sensor wich almost are doing the steering for you.

all this leashes because of safety, comfort, lowering the emissions, environmental care etc.

it's just so boooring !

my dream car, maybe an old ferrari.
the sensation of a wonderfully executed downshift in front of a hairpin on a deserted b road. blip the throttle with your right foot while you're braking, throw the stick into second and pull your clutch foot when you've got the rev-match. then steer the car with your right foot and feel urge of the instant throttle response of the normally aspirated v12.
maybe a bit of opposite lock at the exit. and then the rush.

driving is a dying art
