As I recall from the photo Gallery that was an American Soldier resting on a roadside in Northern Iraq, the north is fairly green. It actually seems like a nice enough place to live if there weren't bullets flying every which way.

This is still one of my favorite shots. After watching "Inside Special Forces" I recognized the gentleman on the left to be in ODA 574. Sure is.

this was also featured in a full article of special forces in some american magazine. i'll scan it in. the above photo is in magazine size. :D

Bah, carried more in my sleep. You guys need bigger bergens. Look at all that crap hanging off the side. The poor lad even has to strap his mags to his thigh for god's sake. Big defence budget my arse, bigger bergens I say! ;)
