Here's some older photoshoot of the MJK, mostly posed action, but they are nonetheless cool looking. I have also done a search on the forum and found that some of these pictures were in smaller resolution on a canadian site about other countries using the C8 SFW. Indeed a very nice gun. These are in higher resolution

Interesting... first time I've seen a picture of a Minimi with an Aimpoint.

Also if anybody wants them for wallpaper material, I have the original sizes, I had to resize these mostly to 1200 because I like to keep people from scrolling to see a picture since its best to see the whole picture in the same view. ;)

From my limited skill at decyphering Norwegian I'd say it translates to Navy Ranger Commandos... so Navy SOF.

btw who exactly are the MarineJegerKommandoen (MJK)?
They are the Norwegian armed forces equivalent to the IDF "naval commandos" or the US Navy SEAL's.
The Marinejegerkommando was established around 1962 or thereabouts with the initial cadre coming from the Diving training centre at Haakonsvern naval base of the Royal Norwegian Navy.
This after a study visit to the states by a delegation from the Navy's Diving training centre.
Think the Marinejegerkommando have enjoyed quite close links with the US Navy SEALs since then, though that's only a qualified guess on my part.
The Norwegian explorer Børge Ousland perhaps are the most famous of ex-marine jaegers. Being the first to both reach the North pole and the South pole singelhandedly, + climbing Everest and crossing some glaciers in the south of the Andes. Have contributed to National geographic with stories (and at least one vid/film) about several of these exploits.
The newest of which is about his trip in the Andes (in company with another guy).
Otherwise the marine jaegers prefer anonymity.
Before the establishment of the "Armed forces special commando" FSK the Marine jaegers tended to be regarded as the "cream of the crop" of our armed forces. How it is nowdays?? Haven't got a clue.
