Kabul, Afghanistan. Warrant Officer Glenn Quinton, and Master Warrant Officer Wayne Bartlett, of Parachute Company, 3rd Battalion, The Royal Canadian Regiment, Battalion Group, serving in Kabul, Afghanistan, on Operation ATHENA, place their poppies on a wreath at the memorial to honour Canadian soldiers killed in Afghanistan.
MWO Bartlett is the Company Sergeant Major, and WO Quinton is the Company Quartermaster for Parachute Company, two members of which were killed in a mine-strike in Kabul, October 2nd 2003.

...as well as Digger, Kiwis, guys from South Africa and India, Gurkhas, and soldiers from the other parts of world that had been serving in the Army of British Empire. They all fought under Union Jack, didn`t they?
