theres some really redicules shows here, plus some extremly good ones that jump beyond the main American media.

my personal favorite weird one was "Mathews best Hit T.V", im not exactly sure if it was a real one (it might be only brodcasted in tokyo so i dont get it) but it was in the movie "Lost in Translation".

the thousands of others i see everyday ussally consist of a man walking in aligator through the streets of tokyo, another one i found funny was when a group of people set out all around japan looking for really old people doing strange things (they were border line senile and allways lived out in the middle of no where), it was pretty funny even though i had no bloody clue what thy were talking about.

Best japanese gamesow ever:

Japanese ninja has won all the events and is now to claim his prize.

He has to choose between three lanes, each lane ending in a long jump over slimy goo. Past the slimy goo there is a big sheet of paper, one for every lane.

The ninja chooses a lane, runs like an idiot, makes the jump of his life to clear the goo, smash through the paper wall and land in a huge heap of money.

Thing is, only one of the chosen lanes has the prize hidden behind the paper sheet. The other two lanes conceal brick walls...

My fragile body and mind simply can't cope with Japaneese TV shows. They cause me severe stress and the mere thought of it are proberly killing me slowly right now. Even the synchronized Iron-Chef activates my tics.
