Masked armed men roam the city of Ramadi, west of the Iraqi capital Baghdad. Insurgents took the streets of the city a day after a video showed U.S. Army soldiers filming themselves kicking a gravely wounded prisoner in the face and making the arm of a corpse appear to wave. They titled the video 'Ramadi Madness' after the restive Sunni Muslim city where it was made. Ramadi, about 70 miles west of Baghdad, has been one of the main hubs for Iraqi insurgents and their attacks. *******/Ali al-Mashadani p-)

These are the guys who were in power under saddam for the past 35 years and they are the ones who killed, tortured, abused and raped the people in Iraq. There is no doubt that some elements of the old regime are fighting with the resistance but still, they have very little in common with Saddam or the Baath party. There freedom fighters without a course, time and time again its been shown that they have little support amount the Iraqi people and I have seen many Iraqis get angry when forigners tell them they should be supporting the reistence and attacking the US. Also these "guerillias" have a wide definition of what a colabarator is.

No it's not. Labelling all of the resistance as terrorism is propaganda.
insurgency = attacking military and government targets
terrorism = attacking civilian targets
For example blowing up a coalition convoy is war, but taking an aid worker as a hostage is terrorism.

Im stumped how she played into the hands of the terrorists. A retarded woman has brought on more than she could bare. The terrorists are 6million euros richer *(by some accounts) and theres more friction between Italy and US, both of which share a great deal of values. Italians will surely have a more negative attitude towards the US. Other countries too will start to question the relation between US and friendly fire.

Great answer man!!! Do you plan on going back to Iraq after all is said and done?I don't know yet. I have been living abroad for a very long time now and I've got everything here, except my family. So it's a tough call ...
