Where are the SAPI plates?

:cantbeli: I have noticed that in many reports and pictures they are showing G.I. with the new interceptor vest but no bulge in the front or back armor flap? Is there a shortage of plates??? Any takers to this!

There was a shortage of them during ops in Afganiland, only enough to issue 1 per person, yet at the same time ebay was knee deep in them. Im quite the gearhound myself, but can not put into the words the anger I feel about people who are ripping off joe for personal profit and putting him in danger. They deserve to be "Turned over to a couple of pipe hitting men of african american ethnic background who will get mideval on their 4th point of contact" to paraphrase SLJ and not get me in trouble with the Mods.

:backhand: It's so true I went on ebay and not only did i find interceptors, I found german and british current issue body armor. Not to mention the sapi plates in medium, large and xlarge!! Wow what the hell is going on??????? :bash: [/b]
