World War 2. Just out of curiosity, what were their tests like. For instance Fallschirmjager, the Waffen SS, The Devil's Brigade, Desert Rats, 101st Airborne. Thanks.

I know for sure that all those units ran a MINIMUM of 250 miles a day...and they had to do it in 2 hours. Those guys were freakin' maniacs. Delta has since broken that record at 500 miles in ONE HOUR! Wow...
Pushups? Let's just say, the standard now is what, 10,000 pushups an hour? Back then, it was like 5,000.
We've come a long way man.

None of them are special forces man, only Airborne. And the Desert rats were an ordinary division of the British Army. Could even of been a mech/armour div.
