Having fired the 84mm several times all I can say is Uncle Cho shut the fu*k up!!
There is a severe kickback from this weapon,it creates a vacum that makes your ears pop,it's reccomended to have your mouth open when firing!!

That's the assistant AT gunner, holding on to the gunner so he doesn't end up flat on his ass when he pulls the trigger, and to help steady his aim.
Hold onto those memories of the CG, the Canadian forces will likely be replacing it in the near future, as they are doing with all other Cold War era gear and equipment. Right now, the Canadian government is reviewing bids to replace the Sea Kings, and testing the Stryker as a replacement to the Leopard C1 and C2 MBT. Despite an Army report from a few years ago that named the Stryker and similar vehicles as deadly choices to replace the C1 and C2, they even went so far as to say the replacing the Leopard with the Stryker would be "unethical and immoral".

So your saying a pound of image is worth an ounce of performance.....?
Realistically the operator is limited to firing 10-15 rounds through an 84 before he starts to suffer from a number of detrimental effects, displacement of the retina etc. Its a pretty ferocious weapon to operate. But extremely versatile.
