30$ is max. I'm poor Pole...
As for swiss ones(aka mac guyvers) i was thinking about multitool, but don't think there is any in 30$ range that will not bend on screw heads...
If you know swiss knife in price range that have main blade openable with one hand bring it on...

I really like Gerber knives....here's a link to some of their folders for $20
(at the bottom left side, you can search by price range on all knives)

Yea I was gonna say, for tha price go Gerber. You might be able to hit CRKT or S&W at that range, but not likely.

I was actually wondering the other day whether visiting a forum like this on a daily basis would help to improve one's English. I guess so. :)

Herrmanek, spróbuj tutaj (http://www.bestknives.com/price1.html). Search by price 0$-25$.
IMO, there`s no knife for less than 40$ - just cutting tools ;)

Top: Frosts Mora Clipper
Down: Frosts Mora SWAK - Swedish Army Knive
They both are sold for about 10-15$, but they can beat knives for over 150$! They have an excellent steel, you can choose between stainless or high-carbon. The highcarbon version has about 59-60 HRC. There was a good discussion about them on http://www.bushcraftuk.net/community/ but the site is at this time offline, due to a reconstruction.
I have these knives at home, they are sharp like a razor-blade.
You won't find a better knive for this money!

Thanks guys...i'm sure there are knives for 30$ that are as good as those for 100$ and more.
IMHO anyone willing pay more than me for normal knife(no gold, diamonds, etc things, rare metals) is paying for trademark engraved on the blade or is to rich and to lasy to look for a good knife in fair price...
Good steel isn't silver. I have lots of it in other fields like tools, machine parts, in much more complicated shapes than any knives we are talking about and they aren't priced like they would be made from gold...
But I agree its very hard to find a good knife in the price range... so lets back to topic:
I like frosts. Yes they have very cool blades. I've checked that with my knife and friend's frost. Mine lost :)
BUT
I want something I can daily use in public places without being shot for deadly intentions or called veirdo... :)
I like that holow frame gerbers, but i'm still loooking...
Now i have not so high tech folder ala mac guyver, its 30+ years old now, and even it had rather not long keeping sharpeness blade it was good for 99.99% of aplications if used properly... I've breached it by puting realy big force on screwdriver part and bended frame a little so screwdriver doesn't stay in folded state. I've almost stabed myself when it unfolded in my pocket while I was jumping over trench(ouch)... Thats my fault. I should know that i was puting too much force on knife with such construction, but was to lazy to look for full size screwdriver...
I liked that it had optimal set of usefull blades, but cuting blade is most often used anyway, often when second hand is busy with something else, so i want something i can open with one hand, without problems when having very short/wet/soft nails...

uuummmm... No, thers not.
while there ceretainly ARE knives in that price range that are serviceable, thay will be inferior to a more expensive blade in ALOT more ways than an engraved namebrand.... quality of steel, the steels ablity to take and keep an edge, built quality, the knife's ability to take various abuse, weight, all these issues come into play.
i personally have run the gamut on knoves, starting out with a $10 paki copy of a CQC-7, then getting a S&W, and i now use a benchmade... the differences in quality as i move up the ladder are obvious.
i would avoid frost... they make gorgeous showpieces but are not "working knives" the S&W series, produced for them by a company called Junglee, are very good for the money.. but i agree that you should save an extra 20 bucks and geta gerber or a CRKT... CRKT in particular is a great knife for the money

Given your budget I'd go for the Frost Mora in a fixed blade.
Great little blades, I use one for the little tasks that my larger knives would be overkill for. Little whittling jobs, food prep, that kind of thing.
