New Polish tactical gear

Once again I refer to MIWO company. They seem to keep enlarge their offer:
two new tactical vests (KT-8 and "Chinese") and a lot of new stuff.
Strange: I can also see some elements for US equipment ("quick cartridge belt for two M16 magazines", "US hand grenade pocket").

For me it was a problem with my browser, now I can view their products using IE. I contacted them, they got back to me fairly quickly and the prices aren't too bad :)

Site menu (this on top - contains photo and description) don't work in Firefox, in IE its ok. Mivo has very very good prizes.

just wondering why they call the vest the "Chinese". Did they base it on a Chinese design or was it a contract piece for the Chinese?
(It probably says so on the website but I can't read Polish)

Oh , I thought it would be better . Those holding straps are pretty much incomfortable (and it seems they are slightly padded , and after trying crossed shoulder straps , I can tell that it doesn't sit comfortable on the shoulders) . No counter weight on the back . And where the cantines go ?
This Chinese west looks like piece of crap , KT-8 looks better but still I bet my money that it's not comfortable feeling on the shoulders .
Are the soldiers gonna recieve it sometime in the future ?

I don't think so - this company was found by former SF soldiers and I think that those Chinese and KT-8 were made for those kind of units.
I don't think that regular army will adopt it. But is it a crap? I'm not a soldier so I can't answer that.
Polish soldiers (especially airborne) are receiving first KT-12 right now.

...and water bottle goes on the belt (+ camel back on your back as you can see)

Thank you, I thought there would be some sort of connection like that :D . I had no idea that the first chest rig was Chinese (I always assumed the Russians were the first).

the first was russian - designed some time in late 49/early 50. the chinese took the design along with the new rifle and manufactured them in mass quantity.

along the line the russians continued to modify their first production chest pouch - 4/5 different variations went into production from 49/50 - 89/90.

the first was russian - designed some time in late 49/early 50. I've never seen Russian soldier with such chest rig in 60s or 70s. The standard place for the equipment (gas mask) and magazines in WP armies were satchels, not chest rigs.

the kalashnikov did nopt arrive in china until 55/56. lifchiki design is russian - not chinese. i have seen examples factory stamped and dated 50 and 54 - one of which in my possession, the other being in soviet military uniform directory.
