Yes it is the Mistral, and you can see also the Monge ( with the satelites disches ) and other military ships.

Fare in the picture, but you can't see it well, there is the base of the nuclear submarines.

Il live in an apartment in front of the military harbor since the begining of the week.

what kind of ship is the monge(the one with the satelite dishes) it looks like a missile tracking ship or something like that?

What camera and lens did you use?

I tried making a panorama with Canon 20D, had the zoom at about half, and overlapped the pictures 20-30%. Still didn't turn out very well.

Any tips? :)

Thx.

Wall, it is simple, i've taken 6 different pictures and then put them side by side on Photoshop.

Nice pic, thanks. :D
But i have to wonder that is it permited to photograph a location like this, cause over where im at id most likely be in a world of hurt taking pics like that, not to mention giving it around.. :|

next time turn off automatic adjustments(if your camera allows for that of course) in your camera esspecialy white balance and cover, and use same settings for all pics...you will not see borders between pics then... anyway very nice view...
