are you sure? I've seen once a guy in a black version (it wasn't dyed as the buttons were also black), but at that time i didn't think about asking him where did he get his jacket from...

The only black DPM ripstop style I can think of is the Royal Tank Regiments black coveralls, but, not being RTR, I can't say if they're anything like issue kit.

It may be a cheapish copy version you saw mind you.

Most of the stuff out there is just copies that are made for thze commerical markt. I´ve never seen this jacket before in any color but DPM. Try www.silvermans.co.uk or something...

Black issue versions do exist, but you are going to have a difficult job trying to find one.

I've only ever seen two worm ones in a now closed surplus shop in Merstham Surrey about two years ago. They were identical to the dpm ones, but in black with black buttons and zips. Grade 1 dpm ones usually go for about £18, these battered black ones were £65 each.

These were definetly genuine issue with nato stock munbers and not dyed, but I don't know which part of the army they are originally issued to.
