View Full Version : A couple of questions on the AKM and 74...

I was just wondering,

Was there ever furniture produced for the AKM that was plastic like the AK-74?

Are there AKM's w/o flashiders (like a regular old AK-47 w/ just the threading exposed)

Also, are there AK-74's being produced w/o the birdcage flashider (just plain old threading like the 47).

i thought the furniture for the AK-74 and AKM were interchangeable.

and you can get a Sar-2 in 5.45 with a normal barrel, which you can thread for 14mm lh, but the ak74 muzzle device ****ing ROCKS so yah :D

The receiver cover you mean? Smooth topped ones? Not to my knowledge was there a smooth top for the 74, but you can buy one and put it on there anyways, not sure why you would want to do that though.


and AKM and ak74 furniture is interchangeable.
