I'm sorry for making a whole topic about this, but I can't find a Call of Duty thread around here, and I just can't get over how intense this game, the Pegasus Bridge mission in particular, is. That blew AA's Omaha Beach scene out of the water and to this day only some Ghost Recon moments have been more intense. When I was done playing this mission on hard, after dying at least 20 times , I only had 2 rounds left in my Sten and none in the STG I picked up, I wasn't spraying and praying, either. I just can't put into words effectively how big of an adrenaline rush the day mission was. CoD is by far one of the best SP FPS's ever, I swear, it's a shame the MP sucks.
BTW, how is United Offensive? The demo was pretty damned good and I've been thinking about getting it for a while, now.

United offensive kicks ass...
The one mission in the bulge where you have to hold the line against the advancing germans is intense.

COD UO is awsome... However the most intense WWII game out just recently came out Silent Hunter III ... nothing is as intense as making contact with a tribal destroyer and playing cat and mouse while he hunts you hopeing you can line him with your forward or if you count on luck your aft tubes. Hopeing one lucky fish will commit him to the deep. Luck wasnt on my side and they sank me.
Silent Hunter III owns all other WWII games ive ever played.

dude please take this as my warning, get COD United offensive if you are looking to expand your shooter horizens, You and I agree on one fundimental thing COD sucked online, UO is constantly played by me for the last two months, and its cheap. Get COD UO i promis you wont regret it.
I dont give a **** how many reviews praise BIA I was not impressed.
8.5 outa 10 maybe. Its just FSW, and Band of Brothers bastard child in video game form. Which is cool I guess, But I wasnt impressed.
Call of Duty United Offensive for Muliplayer alone is worth it, I hear BIA multi sucks lol.
just my opinion of course, I am just getting tired of shooters especially WWII Spielberg movie'esque shooters.
