And it's hasn't even changed a little bit. It's almost the same except for some minor details. Can't these people ever make their own stuff??
why should they?
If we don't want them to steal our stuff then we should not keep the blueprints lying around (or sell civilian models of 'em)

there ya go
that's making things a little bit too easy on them p-)
I shouldn't be to bothered about it though, first of all while western countries spent their money on innovating their weapon designs the Chinese spent theirs on duplicating stuff that we are trying to replace.
besides, a copy is never as good as the original

There was a caption under the pic that said "hummers in Tibet" but that's a shade bit vague too, eh?

damn they copy everything :cantbeli:
Better stolen properly,than selfinvented poorly.
is it a copy if it looks the same or if it preformes like the original ?
cause if the designe of the humwee gives the car better handling or balance then why make an other designe just to not make a "copy" ?
it doesn't need to be a copy just cause it looks the same...

Is this hummer built with the SAM systems or its simply added? Because the suspension should be addapted to its weight. I guess that affects stability alot.

It’s Lhasa !! I’ can’t believe no one have seen pics of this palace before!!!
The vehicle is called Dongfeng EQ2050 High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle.
During the 1988 Beijing Defence Exhibition, AM General demonstrated an example of its M998 4x4 high-mobility multirole wheeled vehicle (HMMWV) to the PLA. The vehicle was reportedly left in China after the exhibition closed for further test and evaluation. Since the early 1990s the Chinese petroleum industry and police departments have purchased a small number of civilian HMMWVs through commercial sources. Some of these vehicles are believed to have been used for reverse engineering purpose.
This was not very intelligent from AM General

Worth maybe mentioning the British-made Panther Command and Liaison Vehicle (CLV), which is being bought in at the end of the decade. Again, the design looks pretty familiar :)
