i am wondering what the standard Israeli light transport is. You see the little willy jeep type things all the time but occasionally you see a HUMVEE type.
Always loved it how they have all the mesh on them and always seem 2 be in and out of trouble with palestinians.
Pictures of transport types would be appreciated.

Hiya mate, go to www.isayeret.com and there are alot of good photos there, http://www.waronline.org/en/IDF/pictures/army.htm is also really good especially the Hummers with a small array of antennas on top which is to defeat remotely detonated explosives (stops the radio signals to the bomb), these are on most of the northern border Hummers. 'Sufa' is the name of the jeep and 'Abir' is a bigger vehicle in wide use also. Sorry I don't know how to make the photo come up so I have just left the links. Happy surfing buddy.

no , the palador is all different Israeli made old truck.
The trucks Israeli army using are "palador" , made in israel , m240 or "storm" , couple of old trucks i have no idea how to call them , and u.s. hhmmww , or called "hummer".
There are additional armored versions of those trucks. For carring troops , there are special boolet proof "bus" , called Safari.
