Hey guys I'm off to Meaford soon. Has anyone on this forum actually been there. I've only seen it when we got our intro to MAP reading but other than that I have no idea what a Canadian Forces Base looks like. Another thing one of my friends was wondering if I would be able to get footage of my company firing the rifles (C7A1) and yeah does anyone know if they would allow that. Jus wanted to know before I go asking my Platoon Commander and end up looking like a retard.

I started BMQ october 17th 2003 and this is for my live fire training with the C7. Am I going to be in the Canadian Army? well yes I am considering that my training has already began. I do training every other weekend and then I will be going away summer 2004 to do my MOC and my SQ.

He meant what are you going to BE in the army. Like what are you going to BE when you grow up? Like that. Your MOS.

Watch out for the 'ribbed' latex cobra ninjas. They're the worst. :D

If you ask to take videos of you firing a C7 then chances are you will be told to unpolitely **** off. Your there to learn to be a soldier not fanny around with a video camera. No offense or anything but thats what i believe the answer will be. Still my only experience is from the UOTC. I'm doing live firing in December :D

We learnt that last week ;) Apparently you can't spell lost without LT. Ahh good old night navigation exercises.
We were told for our first weekend that we would all need a sharp knife. :cantbeli: I'm scared to sleep now, everyone has the over sized serated edged blades you could cut a forest down with.

This thread cracks me up. it's very weird. I want the wife to put on latex and shoot me with paintballs. WooHoo, just thought of a Christmas gift.

I'm going to be an infantry paratrooper. However I hope to get accepted for ROTC once I get accepted to University. That way I wont have to rely on the folks for money for school and what not. But yeah I joined the Queen's Own Rifles of Canada.
