Even at war your ass confort is important ;)

It's a french made ground-air missile call Mistral (the missile alone weight 19kg, launch tube : 5kg for 2m, range : 6km and is armed with a 3kg high explosive warhead). Can be carried by 2 men and can be set up and ready to fire in 1 minute. Can be equiped with a automatic aircraft identification system (useful to limit the calateral damages)
Very simple to use and transport, the optic sight are very simple for aiming too (reticle is a circle, put the target inside wait the signal lock ... fire & forget).

To have served in french ground army as anti-aircraft defense before, i can say now than it's much better than the old system who use a simple 20mm canon (supposed protect the tanks against air attacks :roll:)
Too bulky, too heavy, aim sight too complex, inadapted against jets IMO. However not bad against heavy helico and light armor vehicles.
