It's called airforce pattern, in portuguese Padrão Força Aérea or Padrão Aeronáutica.
here's a few links

from the above site:
Camuflado Exército Brasileiro - army
Camuflado Fuzileiro - marines
Camuflado Americano - US
Camuflado Aeronáutica - Airforce

hey don't bash our cactus fighters! I bet you wouldn't last a day in that environment, specially if u had to take a tactical dump without any toilet paper and soft bushes or leafs!
about the sigs it's the standard rifle for the airforce, some second line MP still got the hk33/53 but they are almost gone.
the navy uses the m16a2/m4
and the army is stuck with FALs 7.62 and 5.56 locally built until the new rifle enters production

One may argue that it looks like a FAL but it' a completely different weapon. Imbel had some neat designs including a bullpup but they weren't accepted by the army which tends to be conservative
