Hi,
here's a quite new pic of a German Army soldier n Afghanistan (Kunduz).

He is a regular paratrooper with G36k (Bundeswehr Infantry units all swith to the "K" til 2008).

His Mag is nearly empty!

His mag seems fine...remember it extends into the weapon, and the gap at the bottom is the follower and spring...rounds don't go all the way to the bottom, you know..

Err, don't you think he is a DSO ?
The DSO (Division Spezielle Operationen, Special Operations Command) consits of 2 Brigades, Luftlandebrigade 26 and Luftlandebrigade 31 as well as the KSK. (Luftlande = Airborne). the Luftlandebrigaden itself consits of 2 Fallschirmjägerbattalione (Paratrooper battalions) each. So yes this guy is a regular paratrooper and yes he is from DSO.
