This looks ridiculous, much chesthair equals high rank or what?
On a serious note: I heard there are very few foreigners in the spanish legion and that it still has a pretty brutal training and punishment?
Why would anyone sign up for it, status?
Also i heard they did not let in women (i am obviously wrong) how long have they let in women? (source: http://www.specwarnet.com/europe/spanish_legion.htm )
dress uniform does look comforable maybe not clean cut

You are wrong in everything. Presently only the Spanish or South Americans can join the Legion. His training is hard as that of any unit of elite as the marines, etc.
In the legion there are women for several years. I am thinking about remembering than from 1997. And his training is the same that that of the men.

if, in all the units of the Armed forces: Infantry, artillery, parachutists, tanks, aviation, Navy, etc. In the Spanish Constitution he says that the men and the women are equal in everything. And the women demonstrate it every day

I guess this is a reply to my post?

As i said that there are few foreigners in the legion (need to speak spanish), this is confirmed?.
I even asked if training was really that hard... also confirmed?
Yet i am wrong in everything...
Thanks for the info about women.

Just courious, why only spanish and 'south americans' can join?

If, only Spanish and South American, primarily those of Spanish origin. There are countries of Latin America that they do not allow his nationals to enlist in other armies. I believe that Mexico is one of them. But I can be wrong.

Yeah, it looks funky, and very un armish, but as a combat force they are to be feared (just look at the pics of the flags, you can barely see them due to all the battle ribbons).

Please, tell us more information about your experience with Gays Military Divisions.
all I say to you, without bitterness, of course, I think you can explain many more about Gays in the army in first person.
Thanks.

Spain is not the only country with this scheme. The US has a large percentage of latin americans in their army, or the UK also allowes Commonwealth citizens to soldier in their armed forces.

Not, the Law limits to only 7 % the number of foreigners who can have the honor of being enlisted in the Spanish armies.
