Im looking for information on modern procedures for Russian air suport to troops on ground or by a airborne controler.

Me and my online friends run a online Russian virtual squadon using the su-25/su-25T aircraft. We try to reenact the russian style of tactics, but unfortunently there isnt much info to get on the subject.

i have found some info from a analysis made on their use of CAS in the su-25 Afganistan and Chechnya, but the information is limited to information an major strategic issus, not the tactical ones that i look for.

i would be very happy for any information or links.

Try to read thru this document (http://www.da.mod.uk/CSRC/documents/Russian/B59) ( The Use Of Russian Airpower) but I am not sure if it helps ...

that document is one of the ones i found, its very good to give the big picture but to build tactics its a little bit to difuse, to much guesswork for us =)
