The CF's Princess Patricia's Canadian Light infantry will be awarded in Dec 8 for there work done in Afghanistan in 2002. Troops from the 2nd Batallion will also be rewarded for there actions that occured in the MEDAK POCKET in Croatia.
In the article it also said that 30 BRONZE STARS will be awarded to members of the 3PPCLI.
Bronze Star is awarded to any person who, while serving in any capacity in or with the Army of the United States distinguishes himself or herself by heroic or meritorious achievement or service in connection with operations against an armed enemy; or while engaged in military operations involving conflict with an opposing force in which the US is not a belligerent party.
