It is interesting to see SVU(above) in use w/ DVD and VSK-94
, http://desantura.ru/mkportal/modules/gallery/album/a_1215.jpgi find it quite unusual to be frank, because these wepons are mainly in use w/ MVD

He has on his head "Sfera" - another unusual thing for a VDV soldier. I'd say he is from Interior Troops

I am inclined to say the same, it is might be joint MVD VV and DVD exercise

Nice pics. But honestly, what's the deal with copying our DPM?

UK DPM is quite effective over a widerange of terrain. I suspect the Russians appreciate it for that rather than a relic from the cold war. Be interesting to see if they develop digital patterns along the lines of marpat, cadpat etc.

Well its good to remove the head of a chechen terrorist inside a Lada 1500 metres away. Also excellent to add a few hours/days/weeks/centuries of maintenance work for a fiendish aircraft technician.

This is NSV "Utes" 12.7mm HMG, which is being slowly replaced by Kord 12.7mm because Utes is a Ukrainian-made weapon and the Russians are running out of spare parts for it.
More info:
http://www.world.guns.ru/machine/mg02-e.htm
It is a NSV 12.7mm HMG on a tipod mount fitted with an SPP scope.
The scope is also called 10P50 and can either be set for x3 or x6 magnification. It is designed especially for 50 cal HMGs.
Oops.. too slow.
Yes, the NSV is Ukrainian and the Russians have developed the Kord to replace it. The main identification feature of the Kord HMG is that the muzzle break is a cylinder rather than a cone as used on the NSV.
Officially the Russians are adopting the Kord because it is more accurate, which it might be, but as said above... the NSV is imported and so will be replaced with a local product to reduce the cost. (Ukrainians prefer US dollars for payments).
