Soldiers from the Army’s first Stryker Brigade Combat Team, Fort Lewis’ 3rd Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division, conduct pre-combat checks on rows of Stryker vehicles at the National Training Center. Master Bombardier Paul Turner and Bombardier Mike Melvin, both are members of 2 Royal Canadian Horse Artillery (2 RCHA) based out of Petawawa, Ontario, use a satellite radio to communicate with Aviano, Italy during a Fast Air Control training exercise with the Royal Canadian Dragoons Battle Group (RCD BG) Roto 13 in the town of Kljuc near Camp Maple Leaf, Zgon.

Corporal Ross Reid (R), a Vehicle Technician, and his brother Private Warren Reid, a Combat Engineer, stand guard with C7A1 rifles at the front gate of Camp Maple Leaf in Zgon, Bosnia-Herzegovina. Both soldiers from Petawawa, Ontario are currently serving with the Royal Canadian Dragoons Battle Group (RCD BG).

The new Army mascot, Juno the Polar Bear is visiting the Public School in Kars, Ontario, Canada, to present one of their students Jaclyn Parolin, daughter of Sergeant Ernie Parolin with a prize for winning the naming of the mascot.
