Heavy touch down on the right main landing gear ! It seems the crew is trying to avoid stressing the damaged left wing by hitting the runway too hard. The wing was not on fire when landing. Is it a helo or a bird on the upper right side of the pic ?

They could not land the aircraft straight because of the missing controls on the left wing.... Full reverse on the engines but you could see the flaps and spoilers are not effective on the damaged wing.

No, this image is not "Photoshoped" from a C-130 cargo making a tactical desert landing on an unprepaired airstrip !

 The lucky crew. You can see from their exhausted faces this was a "serious" situation...

Kudos to them !

I don't have TV for more than 4 years :D

My personal choice.

And I haven't seen the video on the Internet. Only vidcaps. It shows masked people firing a Sa-14 at "something" in the sky you could not see. Then the image fo the A-300 with fire onboard, flames could be seen from the left wing.

That's all.

Here is another picture of the DHL from a.net, you can clearly see the damage.

It shouldn't be too hard to nail a plane that large and that low.

Why didn't the missile hit one of the engines?

Either the missile 'missed' the engine and went past it to the wing,

or much more likely (how almost all missles work), it exploded when it was near the target.

If you look at an A300 the engines are very close to the fuselage so it's kinda weird the missile hit the wingtip. If it exploded before impact like you say then it must have come from a pretty extreme angle.
