Marines from MSSG-13 lead mules on a patrol. The Marines stopped at a drop zone, picked up supplies and delivered them using mules. The exercise was the final test of a week-long class designed to teach the Marines how to deliver supplies to places that vehicles can't reach.

Once the Marines hit the shore they set up a perimeter to allow the unit and tactical vehicles to set up safely before heading to the mock crash site. The unit completed the exercise in about one hour. Personnel and aircraft recovery is just one of the many capabilities of the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit.
