I can learn a three-assed monkey to write better than Ducimus so that doesn't say anything ;)

#!@#^%$@^%#$ and the 2003 smartass award goes toooooooo.. ;)
 Hey don't go picking on me, English ain't my first language so at least I got an excuse...on the other hand, a guy for whom English is his first language and that goes around nitpicking on other people's spelling and gramar while he makes endless amounts of mistakes himself all the time...is...unforgivable.

Welcome!
Awww common...aren't teachers thaught that they should give every student a chance, no matter how much they suck?

Oh and yeah, the admiral shouldn't worry; we're used to a certain degree of crappyness in the mutilated form of English around here

Welcome aboard!

You're right Haiw.... I should hang my head in shame; if Ducimus was in my classroom, I would do my best to teach him. However, if I corrected all of the mistakes he makes in his posts, I wouldn't have time to teach!
That would be a lesson in futility!

yeah but I learnt to read an write in another language first, so technically english is only my second (written) language too.

English isnt my first language either, and I'm paying a serious price for it, everytime I have to turn in a paper for some college classes I'm taking, my wife ends up fixing my grammer, its embarrasing

P.s

If I have to I can write almost flawless english, but the problem is that mostly I simply don't feel like putting the time and/or effort in it...so I mostly end up producing crap riddled with both vocabulary and grammatical mistakes :)

yeah, but my grammatical mistakes are 3rd grade level basic english, I went to a private school in Colombia, we were taught english, but it was equivalent to spanish class here in the states. I can write pretty good in spanish. I married a brit, so she corrects my english all the time its really anoying.

Welcome to the board Admiral. Kegs are to your right, bathrooms down the hallway to your left, and my parents' bedroom is straight ahead.
