and Afghanistan - (and all US operations all around the world - especially in the middle east). It's not only about their artistic quality but rather I need really good ones from last actions. Do you know any really good site which could be fine source of these materials???Photos should be updated daily and should come from military operations (of course if any big operations are in place). Of course we can collect good material when we check 5-10 sites but I need one. I need them to ilustrate articles about operations against terrorists in middle east and one site /one source/ could be very useful because could save a lot of time.

Thanks if anybody could help me:)

Yahoo has galleries everyday. None are high-res.

And each military branch's site has a gallery update every weekday.

One?

could be fine but there are only few photos from army operations and most of them are various pics, even not from military at all. Most of them are "labelled" anyway.

and yahoo pictures are very poor in my opinion.

I like pictures from militarycity.com but they haven't daily coverage. They have good quality anyway - all pics I see recently were taken in big antiterrorist operations.

The problem here my good friend is that when you make these articles, you can't just nab a photo as you please. Making an article sounds like earning a wage. Bureaus have their photographers out there and they need to get paid. You leeching on the Internet is actually a bad idea. Most of us are here out of interest for military related stuff and might also have an hobby in it. We do not make money here.

oooo -one a moment - these articles are just for my website - I don't earn any money from that- I even don't have any advertisments on this site - all I wanted is some good photo materials to ilustrate for example article about ongoing operation in Bghdad or Mosul etc - so it's my hobby - not my work...

Not to mention that the photographers/reporters are constantly in danger of being harmed. Leeching off sites not paying for their trouble is just plain wrong...

He's right, you just can't take photos and put them on your site. You have to have permission from the person otherwise you're liable.

Hmm - photos from press like AP and AFP for sure - but as I know photos from military sources which are publicated on military/army pages are free and could be used...especially on sites which support US troops.am I wrong?

That's why I don't want to use photos from yahoo anyway
