I don't know if this has already been added to the galleries or not.

Caption reads:
Air Force Special Tactics Operator Master Sgt. Bart Decker travels by horseback in Afghanistan (news - web sites) in this Nov. 21, 2001 file photo. Decker, 39, of McHenry, Ill., spent much of the next 12 days in a wooden saddle as the juxtaposition of modern and ancient warfare continued with U.S. Air Force jets bombing Taliban and Al-Queda forces and Northern Alliance troops mounting cavalry charges. Military forces deployed in the war against Iraq (news - web sites) have called up dolphins, dogs, horses and even chickens to fight in the war against the Saddam Hussein (news - web sites) regime. Not a picture of a soldier on horseback, but another one I thought was eye-catching.

i wonder how dangerous and unstable those old grenades are.i'd be a little shy of picking up old explosives but those commandos are some of the best so he knows what he's doing.

It's not a good photo, but looks to me as though they aren't fused (normal practise for NATO - but unusual for Sov kit - they normally come ready fused)...
