Someone just turned me on to americas army, its pretty weak though, not at all realistic, and everytime I get in a good fire position someone calls me a camper. Im still trying to figure that out, Im guessing they have never gone through infantry training,

Like I said, I'm not aware what your definition of a "fire position" is. I'm not a fan of games where you just run and gun either (eg. quake, UT etc.)

But that being said, your explanation sounded to me like the song I've heard hundred times over, where a camper comes up with some stupid story about how it's "realistic" to camp, and tries to justify it.
If you want we can go into a deeper discussion why camping has no place in online gaming. But I have a feeling I'm preaching to the choir :D

Delta Force Xtreme just came out - DF1 was the first FPS I ever played and it was a blast. The only reason I stopped playing the DF series only because of the cheaters. If they fixed that I might just pick this new one up.

Yeah, I remeber the DF1 Demo. It was great. I still play DF1 now and then. The AI is so stupid, that you kill tons of them in one mission.

It's...meh. The new graphics aren't all that super, there's only 20 missions, and quite frankly it felt like it was more arcadish than the original (as in... worse). It's not a total piece of ****, but not great either.

As we all know by now, Operation Flashpoint 2 has been delayed. Most OFP 2 fans were probably not giving much credit to the late 2004 date that figured on the BIS site, but most were hoping for an early/late 2005 release. That's perhaps why there were several harsh and angry reactions when Codemasters let the cat out of the bag. Suddenly on all official Codemasters sites for OFP 2, it read "coming spring 2006". As we now are in august 2004, OFP 2 is therefore at least 18-19 months away in the best case scenario. So far, no one from BIS has given any statement to whether this new date is true or the reason why. The gameinfo page on BIS's own site still reads "Expected release of Operation Flashpoint 2 is late 2004". I guess only time will tell. Hopefully we will get some answers from people within BIS on the reason why OFP 2 was postphoned so much. The most popular speculation is of course that OFP: CWC Xbox is to blame, and I have to say for myself that it sounds credible.
And as we are talking of OFP for Xbox, this game was initally set for a release in the spring this year. Some of the bigger releasedate gamingsites started siting september 6th this year as the date in the US. But then on Codemasters site, once again we were treated to a disappointement. OFP: CWC Xbox is now set to be released summer 2005. Therefore approxematily one year away from completion. What that in turns will mean for OFP 2 and the spring 2006 date is rather uncertain at this point in time, but time will tell as always, and I'll be giving you all the news and updates on this as soon as I can drag them out of someone.
