On this movie you can see an arest of Riad Baragothi-Hamas activist, by Israeli troops (special forces , i bellieve ). It can be seen that during all the movement , shots are fired on the vehicles , but , on this case, it was relatively quiet . This one took place on September 2003 , Rammalah. Movie length is 3:40 minutes .

Nice Video.
A 120mm shell fired into your house would not be nice...
Say, in the first video we see the Israeli trucks leave the scene and repeatedly plow into the parked car and van. Is it common for that kind of property damage to occur? Do the owners get an opportunity to claim compensation? I know there are all sorts of comp. claims in Iraq for US damage inflicted...

what were those journalists doing there? i assumed it would be a 'closed' operation in that the media wouldn't know about it until it was over. :|

Most of it is Arabic (the cameraman)
The only hebrew words are "get the hell out of here" and "whats wrong with you?" all were (I guess) towards the cameraman just before he back off a little bit.
As for the cars - innocent people get money for the damages.
(Lie about subjects you know what your talking about and you'll be considered more reliable)

Ok , i will answer to questions one one .
He219 , this is 105 mm shell , not 120 mm ... Why he bomped into the car ? I will not lie to you , and make excuses ..I myself heard the reason that this vehicle ("palladin") , have hard steering weel , and this vehicle is boolet proof, making the weel even harder . Plus maybe the adrenalin ( if you haven't noticed , they getting fired upon all the time ).I can't judge the driver , i haven't been there , and i don't know why he did it (and most shurely non of you can judge him ) ... And yes , they getting compensated for most ( the problem is , that huge percent of vehicles there are stollen from Israel anyway ) . Those damages are discusted by some inquery board , and if they decide that the act the man did or his property weren't interfear the operational course of matter , the army send special assessor , that fotographing the damage , then army makind damage assessment , and then compensate . Not always ofcorse that happening , just becose people have no awareness , or people afraid to get money from Israel army (why , understand yourself , even if on last time the terror groups themselfes tryed to get money from Israel on that way ) , so they don't report the damages . Those cases not always also get known to inquiry board .

Ok , sorry , now next question.
SeoulStriker , why there are reporters everywhere ? Simple .First of , they have very develop reporters net inside Palestine territories. In every palestinian city living couple of cameramen . On the same time , on the streets also circulating couple of cameramen (Lots of news agencies have local cameramen and reporters ) looking for "trouble".
Second , lot of people , including the fighters have the pal. numbers of the cameramen ( and visa versa. Cameramen have fighter's number , so in case they see Israeli troops , the call the fighters just to get some nice shots , or to help they friends.. ) , and they get a call when something happends . Result of that- on every soldier operating , standing 5 cameramen and looking over his sholder . Very very annoying . This case no different. The cameramen ussually getting 5 or 6 minute to place of event after Israeli soldiers entering .

Ah , one , what a nice sarcasm you have ... I Bellieve i have answered about damaged property. I was just about to answer you .
Palestinian canadian aren't liyin to you , i guess . They just 1)unaware of this . 2) IDF doesn't pay back when it is interfer with "operational need". Let's say from your house there is a terrorist firing all the time at Israeli patrol . Your house leveled , and you will not get compensated.
Soldier yelling : Get the hell out of here . Cameraman : Go ?? To go where ?? F_ck you !! Kus Emek (I think you know what that mean ) ...
Soldier : Get out , go go go , what the hell are you looking /doing here ? Cameraman : F_ck you , this is my job , shut the f_ck up , and so on .
then he is getting inside , and i don't understand anymore .

Ok , now the links are "Allive " again . I suggest strongly that you will look at the first Video .This one considered to be a simple arest , that didn't complicated to much . But noticed that vehicles get shot constantly (it's kinda hard to notice because of small size of the video , but possible ) . Kinda reminds the column in the movie "black hock down" when they standing in Holwadig corner and some sargent there yelling "We getting shot at , we getting shot at ".
Too guttorm- the fact is that Israelies didn't getting blown every day , like the media love to portray it . In last time , all bombings decrease drasticly , mostly because IDF operation on the Palestine territories .

Most of Israel is safe... when ever peace is near Tel-Aviv/Jerusalem and Haifa are a little bit dangerous - but still visitable.
