DynCorp and other protection companies

I went to the DynCorp website, and it offered practically no help on what they are. I am very confused as to what they do. Same with Blackwater, if anyone has any information and what the recruitment/qualifications are like it would be much appreciated.

But i think it's a kind of "Don't contact us, we'll contact you" kind of thing.

the best way to find out about qualifications and stuff like that, is either to call/email them, or talk to a person who works there ;)
Also, I'm not sure about DCorp, but most of them have different jobs (kind like in the mil), security, aircraft maintaince (sp?), electronics and stuff think, and bunch of other things. There is also an International police force (OPF ?), if you'll choose that, then you'll get sent to a place like Iraq, Afghan, Balkans...but I beleive you have to have like 10 years experience in the law enforcement, to be able to do that.

If u are a part of a private military companies that aint a crime.. As i know The us and The UK and almoust every country who is in a war of some sort hires mercenary of some kind. And as i know it's not a crime to be part of and run a company who recruits and maintain a private military and as that i don't know why he would be afraid to talk..And what about sandline.As for me i don't think they are thugs and nutcases they are just doing the job that the brittish "SAS" and Us army special forces have done for decades.. correct me if im wrong im used to it :P

I had a mate(ex CSM) take 5 AK rounds 4 weeks ago and was seriously wounded ,working for one of these firms,I can assure you he's no thug!
He was providing an armed escort for a transport company who were delivering office equipment just outside Baghdad,I talked to him yesterday,and he works with several ex Regiment guys,they were all close buddies!!
I could probabaly get more details from him,but I'm not going to as unless you've been in the Military this is not something out of "Boys Own",it is deadly serious and they do take casualties!!He can testify to this!

You can send an app to DynCorp. Blackwater was founded by, and is made up of, former special ops guys, most of them former SEALs, so unless you were involved with something of that nature its a no go. Contrary to popular belief (members on these forums), DynCorp isn't playing much of a role in America's interests. The State Dept. has awarded Blackwater a ton of important protection contracts for A-stan, Iraq, ect.

I know a guy who works for this company. If you aren't experienced. (ie SF soldier or some other specialized skill) There's no sense in even thinking about it.

Their website gives quite a bit of information, and might answer some questions for you. I'd advise against bothering them with questions. Just read for your own informational purposes.

I work for one of these said companies if you have Infantry or SOF experience you get on a list and then an interview and send in your resume, but you really need to know someone or have an impecible operational history you may have a shot. If anybody is interested and qualifies send me a PM.

I think its funny how people on this forum claims to be smart and objective when they don't even know 10% of the whole story and there are to many post frome folks who don't know **** about the issue..As for me i got like 30 post but i don't post stuff that i don't know anything about.I think u should only speak when u have somthing to say and u have something to back it up with.. just my thoughts..
