I'm confused - have we not gone to war in the gulf before ? Surely there was a lessons learned report written after the last gulf war which might have been implemented or am I being naieve ? Or is it the case that its cheaper to work the blokes harder than provide them with new kit to make their lives easier ? B*llux to the bean counters.

And some of the 200,000 body armour sets issued since the 1999 Kosovo campaign appeared to have "disappeared".
I wonder where it went (www.silvermans.co.uk) :)

Considering a certain brigade didn't bring theirs because it would come of thei baggage allowance.

This issue I hope will haunt this government out of office.
