Don't really understand the question...
What Al Qaeda has to do with Islam? Well, nothing really.
Islam, being the most modern religion fundementaly, has problems with groups killing in it's name. The word "Jihad" (which means fight against invading enemy of country/ islam) is widley used as a rally for certain "groups".
But there is no support for this in Islam. Fundementaly, the Christian religion is far more violent.
Islam has become a way of protest against the west for many people, a way of being different from "us" here. That does not mean most muslims want to blow themselves up. Islam prohibits the use of violence to convert people for example.
So what mr bin Laden och co say about killing infidels has no support whatsoever in Islam. I bit like gods liberation army in Africa have no support in the christian religion.
Yes, I study social sciences and religion :D
