Wheeww, I wondered what would people say if I'd start asking them for plastic tanks with cool remote control features and all.

He is from 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne). The 82nd patch is a right-shoulder patch, indicating prior combat service with that unit, probably in Desert Storm.
