Pop star Kylie Minogue has won worldwide support and sympathy as she begins her fight against breast cancer, and her shock diagnosis is already raising awareness among women.

The star singer was expected to enter hospital in Melbourne as early as Wednesday after being diagnosed with early stage breast cancer.
