I have noticed people getting these attachments that connect to the handle but instead of having it directly on top of the handle it is in front of the handle. What type of rail attachment do you guys think is best. also can you really zero a red dot that sits on top of the handle , it is up pretty high' Any information you guys can offer would be greatly helpful.

Thank you,
EnKrI

It appears that some people on this site are more interested in discussing political issues than military equpiment. I'm somewhat surprised that out of all the qualified people that could help me with my purchasing dilemna not one person replied.

Try Picatinny or Weaver. I come from the old school, red dots shouldnt be used for targeting--only for target training, that is acquisition. I read some study on timed target acquisition with dots and without. the conclusions found reliance onthe dot took more time than those with equal training not using dots.

have you noticed that the mount is see-thru?

my guess is that in case of the optic being blocked by sandstorm etc...
(Have you seend the pics?)
you can quickly change to Ironsight which won't be affected by such.
