kydex holster

i often saw on the news US soldiers wearing on their chestrig a desert colour kydex holster,which has also a thumb strap and looks like a bladetech.
I would like to know if they are actually the "over one hundred bucks" bladetechs or is a GI kydex holster from another brand? I 'd love to buy one for my 1911 (well i own a Beretta too,but ...) ...

I have seen a pic on here of a guy wearing a safariland holster on his chest. I don't remember which thread I saw the picture in but the holster was one of these:

well, in another thread i referred to a specific pic, but on today's news i saw some US soldiers in Iraq and they were all wearing kinda of chest rig on which it was attached the holster.
The holster you posted looks different,and i supposed its hip/leg holster...

There have been modded versions of the Safariland 6004 that have a molle attachement on the back.
I think I saw some info on that on the Lightfighter forum (http://www.lightfighter.net)

that's the very same one i saw also today, in sand colour. it looks like a bladetech but i am not sure.
