The above pattern was supposedly an experimental US desert pattern from the late 1970's/early 1980's. It was marketed as "Abu Dhabi" pattern many years ago but I'm unsure if Abu Dhabi actually used this particular uniform. Colors are a pale green, cream, and two browns. Not seen very much any more but used to be sold at various surplus/militaria outlets. Anyone have any additional history/information?

That's really cool! Looks like woodland camo with deseret colors. Sorry I can't really help you with this but that's neat. I'd like a pair.

What part of the southwest are you from?

If I recall correctly this was a US Army trials pattern from 1981, never adopted. I've seen it referred to as Abu Dhabi as well, but I've yet to see any photos of their troops wearing it. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful...
